Synopsis

Hiriya, a teacher by day and a pickpocket by evening, dreams of running away from Lucknow as expectations of marriage grow. One day, she picks the wrong pocket – Chanda’s – a sharp-tongued thief with the same goal. A whirlwind romance ensues until Chanda’s bloody betrayal, which forces Hiriya’s marriage. Fueled by vengeance, and a newfound taste for violence, Hiriya combs through the city, building alliances to find Chanda and take her revenge. With new murders to her name and a suspicious husband, she cannot turn back, but Chanda is equally relentless. A disdain for each other and a pining for each other’s voices, they keep finding their way back to each other and deciding every time between scoring a kiss or a kill, as the cycle of violence they started grows larger than them.
