Synopsis

Tanveer, a shy and nerdy 11-year old, arrives at Camp Jannat, an Islamic summer camp buried in the backcountry outside of Dearborn, Michigan. She is determined to use this summer as an opportunity to reform herself – in her normal life, she is a friendless dweeb, but here, she will be Super Tanveer, and her mission is to make one friend. And she knows who it has to be immediately: Anar, her kind and beautiful bunkmate.  Enduring bullying from the popular girls and using her penchant for drawing fan art, Tanveer successfully schemes her way into Anar’s friend group, but not without cost. After a summer of adventures,  heartbreak, humiliation, and pure job, will Tanveer finally get the girl?
