Synopsis

Meera, a 30-year-old Himachali migrant in Mumbai, works as a henna artist and shares an apartment with her friend, Suman. When Suman’s boyfriend moves in, Meera is forced to live alone and take up an unusual job at AfterDeath CleanUp, a company that cleans homes of those who died alone. While working, she begins experiencing unsettling visions of fire, cries, and a burning body that seems to call out to her. Amid strained ties with Suman, Meera forms a tender, romantic connection with Reshma, a beauty parlor owner, but her haunting visions persist. When a fire breaks out at an apartment Meera was cleaning, the lines between her reality and buried past blur, pulling her back to a traumatic night in her village.
