Vishnu Sinha is an Indian-born New York City based writer-director with an MFA in Screenwriting with Honors from Columbia University, where his work received the Leone Family Film Grant, the Emerging Filmmakers Grant, the Prism Foundation Grant, and a Teaching Fellowship. At 22, he was the youngest writer at Serendipity Screenwriting Lab, his campaign for Floh was featured by MadOverMarketing, and his short film, One by Two received acclaim at Short and Sweet and India Habitat. Vishnu has written for The Royals, a Netflix India Original series releasing in 2024. His short film, Strawberry Cream received the Geoffrey Quan Launch Fund Award and is on the festival-circuit. He is currently developing a feature length-version of Strawberry Cream and a TV series with an International Emmy-nominated company. He teaches screenwriting at Columbia and the QueerFrames Screenwriting Lab.
